Should I cut the thumb off my cast

Angle of my thumb means its blooming hard to do stuff with this cast, is there any real reason why i cant remove the thumb section LOL

take it you broke your scaphoid bone, i had exactly the same. and although im sure the hospital wouldnt of condoned it i just wetted the thumb part and remoulded it slightly to a better angle ;-) healed up fine no angry plaster person when went back to have it removed haha
